| Hello, my name is Autumn. I was found with my daughter running around the Lago Vista airport. We were lost and confused and starving for food. We were found by a good samaritan and brought to the shelter in town. The very nice ladies that worked there knew that we were both very scared and shy. Safe Haven was contacted to see if they might be able to help us. After a brief introduction at the shelter with the nice ladies from SHARE, we were in a car on our way to our new foster homes. I was taken to my new foster home that had a warm bed and a guaranteed meal every day. I have had a full vet evaluation and I am now spayed. Unfortunately , I am one of the unlucky dogs. My former owners did not give me heartworm preventative and I have a pretty good case of heartworms. I am goiong thru the treatment for it. If only my owners had given me that simple pill each month I wouldn't have this issue to deal with. My foster mom has been spoiling me with hugs and kisses and I am finally feeling comfortable enough to roam the house and play with my four legged friends. My foster mom says that I am adorable when my whole body wags when I am happy. I am a very sweet dog that just wants a forever lap to sit on.
