Safe Haven Animal Rescue

Hi my name is Susie Q. A very sweet girl and my very first human friend, Eileen named me. Eileen found me and my buddy in a card board box on the side of the road she she kept me safe and took care of me until Safe Haven could take me into their program. I know she would have loved to add me to their family but they already have two dogs (adopted from Safe Haven) a cat and five chickens that need her attention.

I am now with my Safe Haven Animal Rescue Foster family and on my very first day I made 6 new dog friends. I get along great with other dogs, cats and children. I have started my crate training and am not that happy about it, but I know it is necessary to help me with my potty training and learning house manners. My new best dog friend is Bullet, another Safe Haven dog that is available for adoption. Bullet is a puppy just like me and we have the best time playing together. He pokes me a lot with his nose, and at first it bugged me, but now I know that he does it because he likes me and wants to play. Please check back on me as I am learning all kinds of things and will update you with how I am doing.
