Hi, they call me Sakari (which means sweet). I was saved by a good samaritan who found me in the middle of Hwy 969. I was dodging traffic and almost got hit several times. The good samaritan rescued me and took me to the shelter so my owners could find me. I waited and waited for them to come get me and they never did. Maybe they just didn't know where the shelter was. I was noticed by several of the kennel workers because I was so sweet and well behaved. The let me go up to the front office and hang out with them instead of being stuck in my kennel. The interaction took my mind off the fact that the days continued to pass and still no owners coming in to claim me and take me home. On one of my trips to the office, two volunteers walked in from Safe Haven and noticed me behind the counter being a good boy. All the office ladies spoke very highly of me and it made me feel pretty good. The ladies from SHARE came to see me a couple of days later to "check me out" . I think they kind of liked me, because I am now living with them. They gave me a great crate to hang out in and the comforter is definitely warm and cuddly. I am very new to the home so they are still learning about my indoor manners. I do really good in a crate and I really want a second chance at a family life. Please email my foster mom if you have any questions |
