Hello my name is Marsha. I am the mom of four little girls (Charlotte, Samantha, Miranda and Carrie that have all been adopted). We were found on the side of the road after being left behind by our previous owners.  We were very scared out in the streets. I did my best to protect my daughters and two other dogs that my owners discarded on the side of the road. We huddled together in the cold and tried our best to find food to eat.  We are all very cold and hungry when luckily animal control picked us up after they received calls about us being on the street. We were brought to the shelter and given food and water and a warm place with blankets to finally get some sleep. We were there for a couple of days and the ladies at the shelter looked for a rescue group to come save us.

Safe Haven volunteers picked us up one day and took my daughters and me to a warm house with heat and gave us food and treats. We were bathed and given medicine to help us with kennel cough. All 4 of my daughters have found perfect homes to grow up in. I am still hanging out at my foster mom's house. Unfortunately I was not given heart worm preventative and I have heartworms now. Safe Haven and their vet are taking very good care of me. I have received my first treatment and I will go in for my next treatment in a couple of weeks.

I am doing very well in my foster home. I am now potty trained and I am learning house manners.  I love to sit next to my foster family and cuddle. I give great kisses and love to get hugs. I feel so happy and safe now. In a few weeks I will be looking for my second chance to find a family to keep me safe for the rest of my life.
